Supply Chain

Transforming pharmaceutical distribution and logistics in India since 1932

The SK Group’s original company, Sevantilal Kantilal & Co. was started in 1932 as a distribution business. Initially a small chemist in Mumbai, the medicine distribution business picked up very quickly and soon became the group’s primary revenue stream. Today, our supply chain businesses can be broadly categorized into Pharmacy Distribution, Hospital Distribution and Warehousing & Repackaging.

Over the years, several companies were created under the SK Group that were distribution and logistics oriented. At present, these companies have been consolidated and integrated into 4 all-encompassing entities.

Warehousing & Repackaging

The warehousing & repackaging business is handled by SK Logistics. Its state-of-the-art warehouse infrastructure covers a total area of 600,000+ sq. ft with 18000+ pallet storage capacity, with pre-defined areas for ambient , air-con & cold storage. The repackaging facility has been the first facility to receive FDA (India) Manufacturing license. Spread across 50,000 sq. ft. and equipped with GMP design layout. Other than warehousing and repackaging, we are also involved in carrying & forwarding as well as promotional material handling.

SK Logistics has a range of established warehouses in Maharashtra and are on track to open brand new warehouses in the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Eastern zones of India within the next 2 years.

Distribution

The distribution business is primarily divided into hospital and pharmaceutical distribution. Together, there are nearly a dozen distribution centers that manage this entire segment of the business. Skites Pharma, SK Agencies and SK Distributors are the three entities that manage the distribution activities of the group, which include trade distribution, B2B super distribution, hospital institutional supplies and direct-to-patient services.
